In Seattle, the second Monday in October is now Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Mayor Ed Murray signed the measure Monday Oct 6, 2014. Join us this year on Monday, October 8th at 5:00pm for a celebration of Native American identities and culture! Doors open at 4pm.

This year, our theme is Honoring Indigenous Womxn, and we will be joined by activists Luana Ross and Jeri Moomaw. We will also feature performances from Native performance groups from around the country, including Tloke Nahuake – Tlayolohtli Traditional Aztec Dance Family and Indigenous Sisters Resistance.

We hope to see you there!
